About the role

This is a contract-based internship opportunity based in Rawang, Selangor, where you will gain valuable hands‑on experience in production planning, scheduling, and process optimisation within the automotive parts manufacturing sector. Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring production schedules and timelines to ensure efficient workflow and on‑time delivery of components
• Support the production planning team in analysing production data and identifying areas for process improvement
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand production processes and document operational procedures
• Help track inventory levels and material availability to support production requirements
• Participate in quality control activities and contribute to maintaining production standards
• Assist in preparing production reports and performance metrics for management review
• Support the implementation of new production initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Liaise between different departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of production activities

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with data analysis capabilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of production planning and scheduling principles
• Preferred experience with manufacturing software systems or production management tools
• Preferred knowledge of automotive parts manufacturing or similar industrial processes
