Job summary

Sandisk in Malaysia is seeking a Production Controller/Planner to plan, schedule and monitor production work orders ensuring on-time shipments. The role involves coordinating with the Production Planning Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer and team to meet output goals and loading plans.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Planning and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Shift-based work in the Production Office is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Planning preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, monitor and expedite production work orders to meet shipments.
• Interface with Production Planning Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer and required personnel to achieve output goals.
• Communicate regularly with Production team to ensure smooth loading plans.
• Prepare timely reports on production performance.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To plan, schedule, monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite the work order to ensure shipments to customer are meet.
• Interface with Production Planning Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer and other required personnel to achieve the output goal and shipment requirement.
• To communicate and coordinate especially with Production team regularly to ensure smooth loading plan.
• To prepare reports in timely manner.
• Required to working shift and will be station in Production Office.
• Any other tasks related to planning that assigned by superior from time to time.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Diploma holder preferable in Supply Chain / Logistic / Business / Planning

SKILLS:

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
• Willing to learn and work well and with good interaction with others
• ERP knowledge. SAP & Oracle experience is preferable
