Job summary

Sandisk Malaysia seeks a Production Control & Planning Specialist to optimize material flow and production schedules at the Batu Kawan site. The role requires collaboration with supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and precise inventory management.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in production planning, and strong Excel/Access/PowerPoint skills, with experience creating dashboards to visualize data for presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in production planning or related area.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Experience in dashboard reporting with data transformation to visualize presentations.

Responsibilities

• Work with CM to ensure all commits are provided the same day unless special reasons.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in commits; zero decommits unless due to external factors.
• Work on retail fulfilment supply execution.
• Coordinate with CM to ensure consigned parts are available prior loading.
• Maintain accurate inventory and WIP; conduct quarterly inventory counts.
• Collaborate with Asia planning team to schedule builds and commits weekly.
• Participate in weekly CM review meetings and CM QBR/CM Ops QER.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with CM to ensure all commits are given within the same day unless with special reasons
• Ensure 100% accuracy in the commit given by CM. Zero decommits unless if it is based on external factor (freight delay / natural disaster)
• Work on retail fulfilment supply execution
• Communicate closely with CM to ensure all consigned parts are available prior loading.
• Ensure accurate inventory and WIP. To identify gaps & area of improvement for better inventory management. To conduct quarterly inventory count and validation at CM.
• Work with CM and Asia planning team to ensure build plan and commit and accurately scheduled for the week.
• Participate in weekly CM review meeting to share on CM weekly performance.
• Prepare CM scorecard on monthly and quarterly basis. Work with CM on any improvement.
• Prepare and participate in CM QBR and CM Ops QER

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Minimum 2years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Experience in dashboard reporting with innovation in data transformation to visualize presentation
