Job summary

Golden Scoop in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the production line and facilities.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and operating cleaning equipment while adhering to HACCP/GMP food safety regulations. You will report issues to your supervisor and support deep cleaning during downtime.

Responsibilities

• Keep production line and facility clean including floors, walls, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing as scheduled.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to supervisor.
• Assist with deep cleaning during downtime or changeovers.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces according to established schedules and procedures.

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers, ensuring they are in good working order.

Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) relevant to a food manufacturing environment.

Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly in designated areas, following company guidelines and environmental regulations.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleaning supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

Assist with deep cleaning tasks during scheduled downtime or as required by production needs.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Clean and sanitize production machinery, tools, and utensils as directed, ensuring all food contact surfaces are properly cleaned and disinfected.

• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in designated areas, following company protocols for waste management.

• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other sanitation-related tasks as needed during scheduled downtime or changeovers.

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing cleaning duties.

• Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all assigned areas.
