Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Assistant to support daily production execution, documentation and 5S on the shop floor.

You will help ensure orders are completed on time and provide on-the-job training to workers as needed. You will maintain SAP and hardcopy Work Orders, assist in label printing, and coordinate with related departments to resolve uncertainties. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing and a Diploma or SPM, plus strong problem solving

Qualifications

• Maintain documentation for Work Orders and related records.
• Ensure 5S and tidiness on the production line.
• Provide on-the-job training to workers as needed.
• Assist in label printing and coordination with departments.

Responsibilities

• Highlight abnormalities to management and seek help when needed.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible on production execution, documentation andto perform other tasks that contributes to the smooth daily operation.

A day in the life of...

To closely follow up with production workers to ensure products are being completed on started date.

To highlight to management team if there are many abnormalities or helps needed

To support Engineer/Executive/ higher management in the execution of the tasks given.

Ensure 5S and tidiness in the production line.

Provide feedback to subordinate and do necessary checking with related department if there is uncertainties or questions raised by the production floor.

To support and carry out OJT for workers to ensure workers are always competent at work.

To ensure label printing for each filters are available before running the orders.

To ensure all Work Orders are properly documented in both SAP system and hardcopy.

To do filing for each document written.

To help support and prepare documentation for Gas Phase Production, Lab and R&D.

To perform other tasks that contributes to the smooth daily operation

What will make you successful

Candidate must possess at least a SPM / Diploma in any field.

1-2 years of full-time working experience in the related field.

PC Skills : Email, Microsoft Office (Excel and Words)

Work experience in SAP systems

Production System Management

Problem solving and decision making

Good knowledge in work study and manufacturing standards

Communicate well with all levels
