Job summary

Renesas Electronics Malaysia seeks a Manager for Product & Test Engineering to lead the team responsible for NPI, qualification, transfer, ramp-up, and sustaining support in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.

You will set the technical direction, governance, and resource plans for final test operations, driving performance across yield, OEE, retest, cycle time, and cost while partnering with cross-functional and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years in semiconductor product/test engineering or test manufacturing in high-volume settings, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ATE platforms such as Advantest V93000, Teradyne J750, NI/PT, HP660/83K/93K.
• Proven leadership, resource planning, project execution, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product and Test Engineering team for NPI, qualification, transfer, ramp-up, and sustaining support in high-volume manufacturing.
• Set technical direction, priorities, resource plans, and governance for final test operations and production readiness.
• Own performance roadmaps for yield, OEE, retest, cycle time, capacity, quality, and cost.
• Ensure robust controls for test-program development, release, validation, audits, and change management.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, customers, OSAT, and global engineers to resolve escalations.
• Build a high-performing organization through coaching, talent development, standardization, and accountability.
