Job summary

CMS Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking an innovative Product Support Engineer to assist in research, design, prototyping, project management, and product support for CMS’s automated machine and robot systems.

You will handle electrical and programming troubleshooting, work closely with Sales and customers, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure optimal performance. Mandarin fluency is required, with Japanese a bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years working experience in related field.
• Machine design experience; knowledge in motion control, robot control and PLC programming is advantageous.
• Mandarin speaking ability; Japanese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide product support for CMS’s advanced automated machines and robot systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, programming and product issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, customers and manufacturers to ensure optimum CMS product performance.
• Travel to customer sites to support handlers and installations.
• Work independently and be a self-starter.

Job description

We are looking for an innovative Product Support Engineer who is passionate in research, design, prototyping, project management documentation, Product support for advanced automated machine and robot system.

As an Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical, programming and product troubleshooting for CMS’s product. You are required to work closely with the Sales team, customer and manufacturer to ensure the customer use CMS product with optimum performance.

Job detail & reponsibilites

• A recognized Degree/Master in Electrical/Electronics orMechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years working experience in related field.
• Working experience in machine design and knowledge in motion control, Robot control and PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in electrical wiring drawing.
• Programming knowledge in C#, Visualbasic, C++ and ladder logic programming.
• Troubleshoot product related error.
• Travel outstation to support handlers at customer side.
• Self starter and able to work independently.
• 2-3 years experience needed and Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Need to be able speak Mandarin to communicate with China and Taiwan, If able to speak Japanese will be more advantage.
