Bion MedTech Sdn Bhd, a medical technology company, is seeking a Product Specialist to provide technical support and deliver product presentations to healthcare facilities. You will train hospital staff, guide infection prevention and decontamination topics, and promote the company product range.

The role emphasizes building relationships with healthcare professionals, supporting sales and product teams, and tailoring technical solutions to customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/health field is required or related background.
• Experience in sales/marketing in medical/healthcare is advantageous.
• Ability to convey technical information to healthcare professionals.

PRODUCT SPECIALIST – MEDICAL & HEALTHCARE

THE ROLE

• Provide technical support and product knowledge to healthcare facilities.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and user training for hospital personnel.
• Provide technical guidance in areas such as infection prevention, contamination control and healthcare decontamination.
• Develop strong working relationships with healthcare professionals and key customers.
• Promote and develop the company's range of medical and healthcare products.
• Support the Sales Manager and Product Manager in sales, marketing and product-related activities.
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve assigned sales targets and marketing objectives.
• Develop short- and long-term sales growth strategies within assigned territories.
• Conduct territory, customer, market and competitor analysis.
• Develop territory management plans and sales forecasts.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product information, clinical data and relevant technical developments.
• Interpret and communicate technical and clinical information clearly to healthcare professionals.
• Conduct product training, technical presentations and demonstrations when required.
• Work independently while maintaining close coordination with the sales and management team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related fields.

Candidates with a healthcare-related background such as Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or equivalent are also encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of medical products, infection prevention or chemicals used for healthcare decontamination will be an advantage.

Experience

Experience(2-3years) in sales or marketing within the medical, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.

Experience dealing with government and/or private healthcare facilities is an advantage.

Knowledge or experience in OT, CSSD, Endoscopy, Critical Care or other hospital departments will be highly advantageous.

• Strong interest in healthcare, medical technology and technical products.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to explain technical information clearly to healthcare professionals.
• Self-motivated, mature and able to work independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
• Willing to travel as required.
