Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites an experienced Coordinator for Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance Certification to join our team in Bayan Lepas. You will drive regulatory strategy, coordinate with Certification Manager, product teams and external labs, and ensure timely PSRC service requests.

You will forecast schedules, costs, and test plans, track milestones, manage risks, and communicate status to the core project team.

Responsibilities

• Drive regulatory strategy with Certification Manager and product team (Carrier Certification, Cybersecurity, BTSIG, SAFETY review, W18)
• Be the PSRC focal contact to the Product team and external lab; participate in core team meetings for latest updates.
• Drive PM/PDM/DE teams to ensure timely and accurate PSRC service requests.
• Determine schedule, cost, and timeline (including CCB).
• Drive PSRC deliverable readiness to meet D-Stream milestones (test plan, samples, risks, schedule and cost) and finalize with SMEs.
• Identify project interdependencies (milestones, certification strategy, test samples, software readiness).
• Consolidate and provide regulatory costs to the project team (effort, timeline, external lab or OT costs).
• Provide a high-level view of all regulatory activities and drive decisions during prioritization conflicts.
• Track regulatory activities and report status to the project core team (software, tools, samples readiness, manuals and documentation).
• Communicate and escalate potential issues and risks in a timely manner; drive closure or mitigation plans.
• Interface with external lab or ODM to secure reports and certificates.
• Coordinate with requester, lab SME and certification managers to readiness of waivers or risk assessments.
• Drive scenario planning for product/design changes.
• Communicate purchase requisition processes to ensure payments and invoicing are made timely.
