Job summary

Fuji SMBE Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Product Quality & Documentation Engineer to inspect and verify mechanical enclosures and electrical switchboards, review drawings and specs, and maintain quality documentation. Product Quality & Documentation Engineer

Perform quality inspection and verification of mechanical enclosures and electrical switchboards.

Review engineering drawings, specifications and product requirements.

Prepare and maintain quality reports, technical documents, inspection records and product documentation.

Ensure documents are accurate, complete and written in English.

Coordinate with Engineering, Production and other departments on quality and documentation matters.

Follow up on product quality issues and non-conformities.

Participate in customer product audits and pre-qualification activities when required.

Attend customer Teams meetings and assist with technical or quality-related discussions.

Support continuous improvement of product quality and documentation processes.

Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field.

Engineering or science background is mandatory.

Good written English and technical documentation skills.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Able to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with mechanical enclosures, sheet-metal products, electrical switchboards or control panels.

Experience in quality inspection, QA/QC or technical documentation.

Familiar with manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

Experience preparing technical reports, inspection reports, SOPs or work instructions.

Comfortable participating in customer audits, pre-qualification exercises and technical meetings.

Able to communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.

Self-motivated, systematic and willing to learn.
