Job summary

RBC in Malaysia invites applications for a senior role within Wealth Management to drive investments and product development across Asia. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report to Head of Business & Product Development for Investment Solutions and Products in driving business development and management in Asia.
• Improve and track policies and manuals related to Investments and Products.
• Ensure compliance directives: KYC, due diligence, AML, and cross-border activities.
• Provide administrative support for content distribution via 3rd party tools.
• Organise and maintain library of product factsheets, pitchbooks, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain and develop the PFS intranet site.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams on product-related matters and operational processes.
• Assist with new product implementations and enhancements across systems, marketing, legal, and compliance.

What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

• Report to Head of Business & Product Development for Investment Solutions and Products in driving business development and management in Asia
• Improve and track policies and manuals related to the Investments and Products organization
• Ensure the relevant compliance directives/policies, KYC, due diligence, AML and cross border activities are abided
• Provide administrative support for Content distribution via 3rd party tool.
• Organisation, tracking, maintenance of library of product factsheets, pitchbooks, DISCLAIMERS, vendor contracts, invoices, .
• Maintains and develop the PFS intranet website.
• Act as a liaison to various functional teams in the product related matters, with focus in operational process (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Information Systems, Legal, Compliance, etc.).
• Assist with the implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products; Implementation includes systems, marketing, legal, compliance, and communication strategies.
• Help further improve a robust and efficient operating Investments and Products platform
• Assist with the implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products.
• Provide administrative support for projects and provide project status updates.
• Involve in ad-hoc projects and take initiatives for improving the organization
• Oversees in-house tool requirements from internal stakeholder, coordination with developers and support end-to-end testing.
• Liasion with Business Transformation Team and IT team for core banking systems’ requirement and testing coordination.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Degree holder with at least 5-8 years of experience experience in banking industry, preferably with relevant experience in Wealth Management environment
• Prior experience in Securities Operations processing team
• Strong investment presentation skills
• Ability to work on unstructured tasks and balance multiple projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheet – Ability to adapt to changing technology.
• Ability to interpret and transpose ideas into actions
• Language: Able to read and speak in Mandarin due to certain market supporting
