Job summary

Quectel Wireless Solutions Penang Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced professional to promote smart SoC products with the local sales team and distributors in Malaysia. You will work with HQ RD to evaluate requirements and prepare proposals to win new products, guiding product lifecycle from evaluation to EOL.

You will stay ahead of market trends, define customer needs, and support major customers and ecosystem partners to secure growth in Southeast Asia and ANZ travels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, electronics, computer or related majors.
• 5-7 years software or hardware development experience.
• 5+ years project or product management experience.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Familiar with multiple SoCs (Qualcomm, MTK, NXP, Nvidia, Rockchip, TI, Broadcom).

Responsibilities

• Promote smart SoC products/solutions to customers with local sales team and distributors.
• Evaluate customer requirements with HQ RD and sales; prepare proposals and design win new products.
• Manage product lifetime including evaluation, NPI, MP, and EOL; train local sales and distributors.
• Monitor market trends, define requirements, and ensure products fit market needs.
• Analyze competition and cost performance; support major customers and partner ecosystems.
