Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for managing and enhancing assigned Soft Space products while acting as a product partner to strategic customers. The role translates customer and business needs into clear product requirements and roadmaps, provides product guidance, and supports product implementation and adoption.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery and other teams, the Product Manager balances customer requirements with Soft Space's product strategy, helping to develop scalable and reusable solutions while continuously improving Product Management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product domains and develop strong knowledge of product capabilities, use cases, dependencies, limitations and roadmap direction.


• Gather, analyse and translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, priorities and roadmap initiatives.


• Manage product requirements, backlog and roadmap inputs in collaboration with Product leadership and Engineering.


• Act as a product advisor to strategic customers by understanding their business objectives and recommending appropriate product solutions.


• Manage product roadmaps across customer entities, markets or business units and identify opportunities to align common requirements.


• Guide customers toward scalable and reusable solutions while constructively challenging unnecessary customisation or complexity.


• Facilitate requirement prioritisation and manage competing customer and business priorities.


• Work with Engineering, Delivery, Operations, Compliance, Commercial and regional teams to support implementation, release and product adoption.


• Identify product dependencies, risks and blockers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders toward resolution.


• Consolidate customer and market feedback to identify product improvements and contribute to product roadmap discussions.


• Improve Product Management processes through standardisation, workflow automation, reporting and better requirement tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Data Science or a related discipline.


• Relevant experience in product management, business analysis, technology project management, solution implementation, digital transformation, process improvement or technical operations.


• Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, technology, enterprise software or a related environment.


• Experience gathering, analysing and translating business or technical requirements into structured product requirements.


• Experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business units or workstreams.


• Good understanding of software development, system implementation and/or technology delivery lifecycles.


• Ability to manage multiple roadmaps, requirements, priorities and stakeholder expectations.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both business and technical teams.


• Experience improving business or operational processes.


• Demonstrated ability to use automation, scripting, low-code/no-code tools or similar approaches to improve workflows.


• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and follow-through skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in payments, issuing, loyalty, merchant acquiring, digital banking or payment processing.


• Experience managing strategic enterprise customers or complex customer portfolios.


• Experience working across multiple entities, markets or regional stakeholders.


• Experience developing or managing product and technology roadmaps.


• Exposure to APIs, SDKs, system integrations or enterprise platforms.


• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, workflow automation, data analytics or reporting tools.


• Working knowledge of Python, SQL or similar technical capabilities.


• Exposure to financial services regulatory, security, risk or compliance requirements.
