• Review submission drawings for compliance and timely approvals.
• Coordinate schematic design outputs with the development team.
• Monitor S&P drawings for alignment with original design intent.
• Review marketing renderings to maintain brand image integrity.
• Develop detailed designs and prepare tender drawings with consultants.
• Assess design proposals for alignment with company brand identity.
• Enhance a comprehensive design playbook for industry trends.
• Undertake any tasks assigned by Management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head of Department in the development, proposal, and implementation of the latest improvements/ideas/innovations in the industry that can be implemented at the company.
• Develop comprehensive and strategic design briefs for new projects, ensuring they seamlessly reflect the company’s branding, vision, and overall project objectives, setting the foundation for success.
• Take charge of overseeing the creation of conceptual design sketches, guaranteeing that each design is fully aligned with the project's goals and the established design brief, ensuring consistency from the start.
• Work closely with consultants to validate design concepts, ensuring that the final outputs fully meet the requirements outlined in the design brief, and confirming that the design vision is being realized.
• Carefully review all submission drawings and supporting documents, ensuring they comply with relevant laws and regulations while facilitating timely submission to the appropriate authorities for approval.
• Coordinate with consultants to produce schematic design outputs and actively engage in design review sessions with the development team (DT) and consultants through regular meetings, discussions, and continuous correspondence.
• Monitor and assess S&P drawings and associated documents to ensure they remain aligned with the approved plans, ensuring all details stay true to the original design intent.
• Review marketing renderings and promotional materials to ensure all visual representations stay in line with the approved design, preserving the integrity of the brand’s image.
• Partner with consultants to develop detailed designs and prepare tender drawings, meticulously reviewing these to ensure they align perfectly with the approved design and project requirements.
• Assess and coordinate design proposals with a keen focus on ensuring alignment with the company’s brand identity, product design DNA, product categorization, and standardization, always considering the targeted consumer persona.
• Continuously enhance and refine a comprehensive design playbook, incorporating product standardization, design guidelines, and the development of innovative products to keep the brand at the forefront of industry trends.
• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.
