Job summary

ASE Semiconductor (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a product sustaining engineer to drive yield, test time, quality improvements and cost reductions.

You will manage the introduction of new products and ramp them to volume production, coordinating with Manufacturing, Design, Quality and MRB teams on excursions. You'll leverage data analytics to predict yield, set aggressive goals, and support test programs and NPIs.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE or ECE or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach preferred.
• Experience with yield, test time, quality improvements or related product engineering.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage sustaining activities to improve yield, cost reduction and performance.
• Lead new product introductions and ramp to volume production.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality and MRB teams for excursions.
• Use data analytics to predict yield and plan improvements.
• Oversee test programs and release for production, including debugging.
• Support NPIs with test coverage evaluation and hardware qualification.
• Set up yield monitors and resolve early production issues post-release.
• Promote CSR commitments as part of operations.
