Job summary

Power Logic (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a technically strong Technical Manager (Product & Engineering) to bridge engineering, sales, and manufacturing. You will lead the UPS, battery, and power protection portfolio, evaluate new technologies, and coordinate with overseas manufacturers to deliver reliable power solutions.

The role demands hands-on product management, technical support for bids and projects, and mentoring of engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Software engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, power protection, and data-centre environments.
• Experience in product management, technical support, or pre-sales is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Bridge engineering, sales and manufacturing to align product strategy.
• Lead portfolio for UPS, batteries, and power protection.
• Evaluate new products and technologies before market introduction.
• Coordinate with overseas manufacturers and suppliers for technical alignment.
• Provide technical support during quotations, tenders and project implementations.
• Manage warranty, QA/QC, and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Develop technical guides, product manuals, and training materials.
• Stay updated on CE, SIRIM, ST, ISO and relevant industry standards.
