Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Product Engineer in Penang to own Plasma Products through their lifecycle. You will collaborate with Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure successful introduction, manufacturing, sustainment, and end-of-life decisions.

The role includes product configuration, change management, manufacturability, and continuous improvement to drive cost efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in product engineering, NPI and manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of NPI, engineering change and configuration management processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) for Plasma Products into manufacturing.
• Coordinate prototypes through production readiness and volume manufacturing.
• Review designs, BOMs, drawings, specs for production readiness.
• Drive Engineering Change Orders and manage ECO/ECR processes.
• Monitor product performance, yield, quality, and cost throughout lifecycle.
