Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a Product Engineer to own Plasma Products across the lifecycle, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.

You will lead NPI activities, manage BOMs and specifications, drive changes, and ensure robust production readiness throughout the product lifecycle. Successful candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering, with strong problem-solving skills, ECO/ECR

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Product/Manufacturing Engineering, NPI or Sustaining Engineering.
• Experience in engineering change management, product configuration and lifecycle management.
• Experience in product/component qualification, root-cause analysis, failure analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience in high-mix manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support NPI introductions of Plasma Products into manufacturing.
• Coordinate activities from prototype to production readiness and volume manufacturing.
• Review BOMs, drawings, specifications, and test requirements for production readiness.
• Identify and resolve manufacturability, testability, reliability, quality and production issues during NPI.
• Own technical product management and translate requirements into engineering actions.
• Monitor product quality, reliability, cost, and lifecycle metrics.
• Drive ECOs, ECRs and manufacturing documentation updates.
