Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to manage product sustaining activities, drive yield improvements and cost reduction, and lead NPIs to volume manufacturing. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Failure Analysis teams to disposition excursions and drive ramp readiness.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering and 4–8 years of industrial experience in equipment development or maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or above.
• 4–8 years of industrial experience in equipment development or equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Management of sustaining activities including product performance improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead introduction of new products (NPI) and ramp to volume manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Failure Analysis teams for excursions disposition.
• Oversee engineering during NPI including EVT/DVT, test programs, and ramp readiness.
• Drive product ramp to yield entitlement and address margin issues with teams.
• Provide leadership of project within programmatic guidelines and customer expectations.
• Define and review project requirement documentation.
• Coordinate between resource managers and ensure reviews/approvals.
