Job summary

Ascension Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Product Engineer for an EMS environment.

The role focuses on new product transfer, product introduction and ensuring manufacturing meets specifications and quality requirements. You will monitor ECN/DN implementation for timely production, lead process improvements, and provide technical support to production teams during mass production. Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or related discipline is required.
At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies or related processes is a plus.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Familiarity with ERP/SAP and MES systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage new product transfer and introduction activities to meet specs and quality.
Track and follow up on ECN/DN implementation for timely production.
Improve manufacturing processes, product quality and equipment performance.
Lead production line improvements and process optimization for productivity.
Conduct cycle time studies to support process improvement and capacity planning.
Provide technical support to production teams during mass production.
Prepare and update Work Instructions and manufacturing docs.
Maintain MES and product/process information.
Support troubleshooting of product/process/assembly issues and corrective actions.
Ensure activities and documentation comply with ISO standards and internal procedures.
