Job summary

HP Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Product Engineer to own the form, fit and function of HP print-heads and to drive resolutions for product and manufacturing issues.

You will implement a robust Product Quality System across the value chain, enable NPIs, and collaborate with R&D, production and supply chain to improve yield, productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering preferred.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing experience in electronics.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own the form, fit and function of HP print-heads and drive Change Management.
• Drive Product Qualification and Change Management across the value chain.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Tech Support and Production to improve line productivity, yield and quality.
• Develop and deliver cost-reduction initiatives through process improvements.

Product Engineer**Description -****Position Summary:*** You will own the form, fit and function of HP Print-heads and will provide engineering resolutions to product/manufacturing issues.* You will implement a strong Product Quality System across the value chain, driving Product Qualification/Change Management processes.**What a Product Engineer does in HP:*** Provide resolution and implement engineering solution to product/manufacturing issue* Engage R&D and Product Development to enable New Product Introductions and Extensions* Identify the risks early in the program and determine the test methods needed to characterize the product to ensure we meet the end-customer needs.
