Job summary

Ambition in Melaka invites a Product Engineer to own the end-to-end NPI process from concept to production, working closely with design, manufacturing, and sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive cost analysis, quotations, and first article yields, leveraging strong communication across functions to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a product or manufacturing engineering role.
• A proactive, driven approach with a strong sense of urgency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-first mindset.
• Confidence in interpreting technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• An understanding of cost estimation, quotation processes, and commercial awareness.
• A clear and confident communicator across functions and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end NPI process, from initial design transfer through to production.
• Leading cross-functional project teams and keeping deliverables on schedule.
• Preparing and reviewing customer quotations using cost estimation methodology.
