Role Description

The Product Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Baharu, responsible for supporting the design, development, and optimization of engineered components and machining solutions. Day-to-day tasks include translating customer requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with design and production teams on product feasibility, and improving manufacturability and performance of existing products. The Product Engineer will coordinate with R&D to evaluate new materials, processes, and technologies, and will assist in troubleshooting production issues to maintain quality and efficiency. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, participating in client discussions on product requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Strong Product Engineering and Product Design skills, with experience in developing and refining mechanical or precision components.
• Proficient Analytical Skills for problem-solving, process optimization, and interpreting technical and production data.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting technical information, and engaging with clients.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including evaluating new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools and CNC machining processes is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of quality standards and practices within precision manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Johor Baharu and collaborate in a fast-paced, production-oriented setting.
