Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer – Product Development to support and deliver multiple product development projects across different technical disciplines. You will manage assigned project work packages from planning through delivery, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget and quality.

You will work with cross-functional teams, prepare plans and progress reports, identify risks, and coordinate with engineering, software, hardware, and suppliers to achieve milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Experience working on product development projects.
• Experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination or Project Management.
• Strong interest in working across different types of projects: Systems, Desktop software, Mobile applications, Firmware, Hardware.
• Good understanding of project planning, tracking and delivery.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong interest in developing a career in Project Management / Product Development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, track and monitor project work packages across multiple product development projects.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and ensure timely delivery of assigned work packages.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, resources and quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare project plans, progress reports, documentation and project updates.
• Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and coordinate appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, software, hardware, suppliers and other project teams where required.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed technical and quality requirements.
• Work independently with limited guidance while maintaining effective communication with the wider project team.
