Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Malaysia is seeking a production/engineering support specialist to analyze hold-lot data, run test data analyses with Minitab, and support yield improvement initiatives.

The role involves coordinating evaluation builds, participating in cost reduction projects, and ensuring 5S, cleanroom, and safety compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Familiarity with Minitab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hold-lot disposition in test for production and engineering.
• Analyze test data and drive yield improvements.
• Coordinate evaluation builds from FOL to test per requirements.

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Responsible to support Production and Engineering on hold lot disposition in test. Analyse the test data by using minitab.
• Support activities in the projects in chip change, new products, productivity improvement projects, yearly reliability monitoring, cost reduction, yield improvement, etc.
• Coordinate and execute evaluation build from FOL to test per specified requirement for low to medium complex project.
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.
