Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a senior Product Development leader to drive end-to-end development for Health Supplement and Consumer Healthcare lines. You will manage the portfolio, lead cross-functional teams and guide regulatory pathways to ensure successful launches and growth.

Responsibilities include budgeting, prioritisation, and coordination with regulatory, QA/QC, supply chain and CMOs to deliver compliant, market-ready products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• 8–10 years in Product Development within consumer healthcare or nutraceuticals.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary Product Development teams.
• Strong knowledge of formulation development and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with regulatory requirements for traditional supplement, health supplement and consumer healthcare products.

• Lead the Product Development function supporting Health Supplement and Consumer Healthcare businesses.
• Manage departmental budget, product portfolio, project prioritisation, resource allocation and product pipeline planning aligned with business objectives.
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept feasibility, formulation development and sourcing to regulatory support, commercialisation and lifecycle management.
• Lead technical due diligence, supplier/CMO qualification, product recalls, CAPA investigations, change controls, stability programmes and raw material replacement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, QA/QC, Supply Chain, Marketing, Procurement and contract manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical advices in product strategy, innovation, regulatory pathways and portfolio optimisation.

Job description

Lead the Product Development function across Consumer Healthcare businesses, overseeing the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of nutrition products, traditional medicines, health supplements and personal care products. Responsible for portfolio management, commercialisation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful product launches and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Product Development function supporting Health Supplement and Consumer Healthcare businesses.
• Manage departmental budget, product portfolio, project prioritisation, resource allocation and product pipeline planning aligned with business objectives.

About you

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Product Development within the consumer healthcare or nutraceutical industry.
• Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary Product Development teams.
• Strong knowledge of formulation development, product lifecycle management and commercialisation.
• Experience in regulatory requirements for traditional supplement, health supplement and consumer healthcare products.
• Strong project management, portfolio planning and resource management skills.
• Experience in supplier/CMO qualification, technical due diligence and technology transfer.
• Knowledge of stability studies, quality systems, CAPA, change control and product investigations.
• Strong financial acumen in product costing, budgeting and commercial evaluation.
