Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the FPSO product development teams, aligning with framing managers and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, fit-for-project solutions for offshore energy projects. You will assign leads and engineers, validate development plans, and ensure that products are compatible with project execution.

A university engineering degree and 15 years of offshore experience are expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (required).
• 15 years offshore experience (required).
• Experience in construction, operation, installation, supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPSO product development teams and ensure staffing and training.
• Collaborate with Framing manager to monitor client needs and identify products to develop.
• Assign product development leads and engineers and validate their plans.

Purpose

• You drive and manage the Product development leads and Product developmentengineers and ensure the teams are staffed and trained to perform.

Responsibilities

• The FPSO Product Development manager has the overall responsibility to:
• Collaborate with Framing manager to monitor client needs and identify product to be developped
• Assign the product development leads and product devlopement engineers
• Validate product development plans issued by the leads
• Ensure and foster collaboration with Internal stakeholders such as I &G/Technology/GRS
• Ensure that product developed are compatible with the project execution
• Prepare communication and reporting

Education

• University degree in a relevant engineering discipline

Experience

• 15 yearsâ experience in offshore industry
• Relevant construction, Operation, Installation, Supply Chain experiences
• Good technical knowledge of the company's products
