PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Development Assist. Manager to lead the end-to-end development of industrial equipment and cryogenic systems in Melaka.

You will mentor engineers, drive prototypes, validate designs, and coordinate certifications while collaborating with cross-functional teams domestically and internationally. This role offers a 12-month contract and competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• 5-10 years of experience in Product Development, Product Engineering, Industrial Equipment, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Industrial Gas, or Cryogenic Systems.
• Proven experience managing product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Design, Product Engineering, DFMEA, Manufacturing Readiness, PLM & Engineering Documentation.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Autodesk Vault / PDM / PLM Systems OR ERP Systems.
• Understanding of prototype development, product testing, and manufacturing scale-up processes.
• Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC systems would be an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the complete product development lifecycle from concept generation through commercialization.
• Develop innovative products and proprietary technologies for global markets.
• Manage engineering design, prototyping, testing, validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Drive product improvement initiatives focused on reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate CE, PED, ASME certification activities and work closely with international certification bodies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, QA/QC, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Support customer-specific engineering solutions and product customization requirements.
• Manage technical documentation, BOMs, design revisions, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Support commercialization, technical sales enablement, and customer technical discussions.

Position: Product Development Assist. Manager

Industry: Cryogenics and industrial equipment manufacturing

Location: Melaka

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (0800 to 1730)

Employment Type : 12 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM6,000 - RM10,000 (based on experience & skills) + Statutory Contributions + Leave Entitlement + Medical Coverage

What You'll Be Driving

Lead the complete product development lifecycle from concept generation through commercialization

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields

5-10 years of experience in Product Development, Product Engineering, Industrial Equipment, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Industrial Gas, or Cryogenic Systems

Proven experience managing product development projects from concept through commercialization

Strong knowledge of: Mechanical Design, Product Engineering, DFMEA, Manufacturing Readiness, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Engineering Documentation

Experience with: Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Autodesk Vault / PDM / PLM Systems OR ERP Systems
