Job summary

Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Application Engineer (Products) to support transformer-manufacturing customers with technical inquiries and to translate customer specifications into compliant offers and orders in SAP.

You will collaborate with internal technical, commercial and logistics teams, review feasibility and cost-effectiveness of custom product applications, and participate in negotiations while ensuring timely processing and after-sales support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
3–5 years of experience in the power transformer industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Consult transformer-manufacturing customers on technical inquiries related to the product range.
Interpret and implement customer specifications for offers and orders in SAP.
Review technical feasibility and cost effectiveness of custom product applications.
Enter offers and orders in SAP and coordinate processing timelines.
Monitor materials delivery and invoicing; participate in negotiations and after-sales support.
Collaborate with internal technical, commercial and logistics teams at Reinhausen factories.
