Job summary

AFA Technologies Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a Supply Chain Management - Procurement Trainee to gain hands‑on experience in procurement support within a manufacturing setting.

You will learn how real business operations run from the inside, handling sourcing, negotiation, PO creation, and supplier invoicing while collaborating with sales, engineering, production, logistics, and QM teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase fabrication parts, raw materials, and components.
• Prepare purchase orders (PO) and email to supplier upon management approval.
• Verify supplier invoices with shipping documents and submit to Accounts for payment.
• Monitor and ensure goods arrive on time as planned.
• File purchasing documents for easy retrieval and auditability.
• Communicate with related departments for smooth operations flow.
• Check DOs and invoices against POs in ERP system; liaise with suppliers on disputes.
• Follow up invoice status before month‑end closing and obtain approvals from HoD/Manager.
