Job summary

Linaco Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the group’s sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management across multiple business units in Shah Alam.

You will develop and implement procurement policies, oversee budgets, and drive cost reduction while ensuring compliance with halal certifications and import/export requirements. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, procurement or related field.
• 8–10 years in procurement, with 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Familiar with international and local procurement regulations, halal certifications, and import/export practices.
• Analytical, strategic thinker with decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and review procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Manage sourcing, price negotiation, contract management, supplier evaluation, and vendor relationship management.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers and alternative sources to ensure uninterrupted supply and competitive pricing.
• Oversee procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, ingredients, machinery, and general purchases for all business units within the Group.
• Conduct market analysis, price benchmarking, and cost reduction programs.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, QA, and R&D teams to ensure timely material availability and compliance with quality specifications.
• Monitor and manage procurement budgets and monthly procurement reports for management review.
• Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in supplier services, cost, and quality.
• Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and governance standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement executives and officers.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related fie
• Minimum 8–10 years of working experience in procurement, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis.
