Job summary

ViTrox Corporation Berhad in Penang is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive to manage sourcing of direct and indirect materials for internal departments. You will negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices and payment terms, monitor delivery schedules, and coordinate purchases to prevent shortages.

• Diploma or degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related purchasing/buyer experience in machinery/electronic manufacturing.
• Knowledge in Purchasing/Inventory/Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage.
• Self-starter with good communication/negotiation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source direct and indirect materials requested by internal departments.
• Deal with suppliers for the best price and payment terms.
• Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Coordinate and monitor all purchases to avoid shortages, overcharges and breakage.
• Manage supply chain related tasks.
• Analyse cost reduction activities, sustainability activities & alternative part replacement.

• Knowledge in Purchasing/Inventory/Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage
