As we continue to push the capabilities of robotics inside semiconductor fabs, we are looking for someone who is excited by both technology and manufacturing automation.
The Procurement Engineer – Contract Manufacturing plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable, cost‑effective supply of mechanical build‑to‑print components, OEM parts, and commercial items through external manufacturing partners. This role combines strong technical expertise—interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications—with commercial acumen to drive sourcing and purchasing decisions in a fast‑paced CM environment.
Partnering closely with contract manufacturers, engineering, quality, and operations teams, the Procurement Engineer develops and manages localized and regional supply bases to improve cost, reduce lead times, and mitigate supply risk. The role is also actively involved in supplier qualification, value‑engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance total cost of ownership, quality, and delivery performance across the contract manufacturing network.
Work Location: ONSITE – Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru.
