Job summary

Accenture PLC in Malaysia (Subang Jaya) is seeking a Finance Operations professional to support the Thai market. You will collect data, analyze it and reconcile transactions within the AP function, ensuring timely payments and adherence to client requirements and internal controls.

You will handle manual payments, investigate discrepancies, liaise with stakeholders for payment inquiries, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Thai and English proficiency.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Accounts Payable activities in line with procedures and controls.
• Process manual payments, review potential duplicate payments, investigate exceptions and controls.
• Verify direct debit documentation and prepare accounting entries.
• Analyze vendor statements to identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.
• Manage payment posting activities and resolve posting errors or issues.

About the Role

You will be part of our Finance Operations team supporting Thai market, helping determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, analyzing data, and reconciling transactions. The Accounts Payable (AP) team manages vendor payment processing and related AP activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in line with established procedures, client requirements, and internal controls.

What We Are Looking For

• Primary skill: Accounts Payable Process (P2)


• Secondary skill: SAP Procure to Pay (P1)


• Basic accounting knowledge


• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail


• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel


• Good communication and problem-solving skills


• Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Accounts Payable activities in line with established procedures, client requirements, and internal controls


• Process manual payments, review potential duplicate payment reports, investigate exceptions, and perform required payment controls


• Verify direct debit documentation and prepare the corresponding accounting entries


• Analyze vendor statements to identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items


• Manage payment posting activities, investigate posting errors, and resolve issues or escape them when necessary


• Liaise with stakeholders to address payment-related queries and resolve processing issues


• Process cheque payments in line with established procedures and authorization requirements


• Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation for audit purposes


• Monitor individual processing performance to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agreed service levels


• Support other AP activities and ad hoc tasks assigned by the Team Lead
