Sandisk is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead excursion management, oversee yield for assembly and test, and drive cross-functional improvements. You will perform DOEs, statistical analysis, and rigorous data-driven decision making to resolve issues and enhance process performance.

Responsibilities include setting up and improving assembly processes (Die Attach focus), cost reduction, capacity gains, documentation, and risk assessments in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment with excursion management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process simulation software.
• Strong data-driven decision making and technical judgment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process monitoring, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, Control Plan, DOE, APC and risk assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead excursion management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to close issues.
• Oversee yield management for assembly and test processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional commonality analysis by product, design, process, machine, material and measurement.
• Conduct DOEs and apply statistical analysis to drive problem solving.
• Set up and continuously improve assembly processes, especially Die Attach.
• Manage excursions and abnormal cases with swift resolution.
• Drive cost reduction projects to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Improve capacity and productivity through process optimization.
• Assess and optimize existing processes and workflows; design new procedures.
• Assemble detailed reports documenting status, changes and proposed improvements.

Excursion Management: Lead excursion issue, collaborate with all cross functional team and follow up on issue/excursion closure. Perform line audit to ensure production line compliances.

Yield Management: Oversee overall yield management for specific products, covering both assembly and test processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Commonality Analysis: Coordinate cross-functional teams to perform commonality analysis by product design, process, machine, material, and measurement to identify root causes of issues and develop effective improvement plans.

Engineering DOEs and Statistical Analysis: Conduct Design of Experiments (DOEs) and apply statistical analysis methods to solve complex problems, making data-driven decisions.

Process Setup and Improvement: Recipe knowledge, Set up and continuously improve assembly processes, specifically focusing on die Attach equipment

Excursion and Abnormal Case Management: Manage production line excursions and abnormal cases, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

Cost Reduction Projects: Follow up on and implement engineering value (cost reduction) projects to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.

Capacity and Productivity Improvement: Continuously improve production capacity and productivity through innovative solutions and process optimizations.

Process Assessment and Optimization: Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows, designing, implementing, and testing new procedures to optimize productivity.

Reporting and Documentation: Assemble detailed reports to document process status, changes, and improvements, ensuring clear communication of findings and proposals to upper management.

Metrics Tracking: Track key metrics to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of upgrades and changes.

Simulation and Testing: Utilize process simulation software to test and identify the most appropriate production strategies.

Implementation of Changes: Provide thorough instructions and support for the successful implementation of process changes.

Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and mitigate risks effectively.

Compliance Assessment: Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

Departmental Contribution: Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed to support overall goals.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related field).

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment and Excursion Management

Proficiency in statistical analysis and process simulation software.

Strong decision-making capability based on data and technical judgment.

Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Experience with process monitoring, statistical analysis, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, Control Plan, DOE, APC Risk Assessment.

SKILLS:

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with experience in Pre Assembly and Assembly - Die Attach/FC/UF.
