Job summary

Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Process and Equipment Engineer for automotive ICs to support backend testing and tester systems. You will manage maintenance, calibration, and equipment improvements in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role focuses on pre-acceptance, release of machines, troubleshooting, and collaboration with suppliers and engineering to optimize tester performance and yield.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, etc.)
• 1 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experiences in Tester Hardware & Testing System (Include Contacting unit) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interface and responsible for all tester system and test program incl. contacting unit (Backend final testing – Advantest V93K or other related testers)
• Responsible for pre-acceptance and release machines incl. support in setup, fine tuning, sustaining and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance according to maintenance plan on machine and calibration.
• Analysis of downtime reasons of the equipment, mechanical, electrical and electronic repairing of the equipment. Release of tester equipment according Eng. spec.
• Active support and execution of tester system and test program related troubleshooting, analysis, repair and documentation of downtime root cause incl. localization of failures on test system also in combination with complete testing unit, carries and products.
