Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance engineer for semiconductor testing equipment in Penang/Batu Kawan. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of testers and sensors, and collaboration with process and equipment engineering to reduce downtime and costs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and offers 3–5 years of hands-on experience with consumer electronics testing machines and pressure sensors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with consumer electronics testing machines and pressure sensors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance according to maintenance plan on machinery and calibration tasks.
• Analyze downtime causes; repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components per engineer specs.
• Localize faults on PCBs and repair boards.
• Prepare daily overview on BIN topics and ensure transparency.
• Autonomously modify and extend circuit diagrams per engineering specs.
• Collaborate with equipment engineer to reduce failures and improve quality/output.
• Assist in 8D reporting and disposition of lots.
• Instruct Operators per production management for alignment.
• Support production lines and participate in FMEA and Control Plan.
• Ensure spare parts availability and timely procurement.
• Execute other duties assigned by supervisor.
