Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead front-end wafer fabrication activities in Dry Etch, PECVD and ALD, owning quality, yield, process capability and related KPI improvements.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive cost and productivity projects, and mentor junior engineers. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science is required; a Master’s or PhD is an advantage. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering or science required.
• 10 years of front-end semiconductor wafer fab experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end wafer fabrication in Dry Etch/PECVD/ALD fields.
• Own quality, yield, damage containment and process capability KPI.
• Drive cross-functional projects and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain process documentation and procedures.
