Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malaysia Sdn. Bhd in Penang seeks a process engineer to develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.

You will create and review technical charts and work with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include establishing SOPs and FMEA, reviewing product development requirements for costs and schedules, integrating equipment and materials to meet specifications, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining EHSS compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering and 0–2 years of experience (MS + 0–2 years)
• Familiar with process formulations, methods and controls.
• Knowledge of SOP and FMEA.
• Ability to review product development requirements and assess costs/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Create, analyze and review technical charts.
• Develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.
• Establish SOP and FMEA for related processes.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices.
• Work with cross functions teams to deliver organizational goals.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.
