Job summary

Confidential Company, an established EPCC engineering firm, is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Subang USJ, Selangor. You will work on large-scale process engineering projects from concept through commissioning across Southeast Asia, gaining regional exposure with multinational clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of working experience in oleochemicals or related fields.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial basis of design with input from business side.
• Detail engineering including initial layout, main plant technical specifications, prepare tender documents, technical evaluation and recommendations.
• Engineering supports and clarification during project detail engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
• Advise the automation, electrical & instrument team on philosophy of control, AEI design specification, clarification during construction phase and commissioning phases.
• Supervise draughtsman on the engineering drawing
• Be involved in strategy planning and implementation with management support and approval.
• Budget and estimation of investment and operation cost
• Other responsibilities and authorities assigned by the superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 - 10 years of working experience especially in oleochemicals or related fields will be an added advantage.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCAD
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Chinese proficiency is an advantage
