Job summary

VTech Communications Ltd is seeking a Process and Testing Engineer in Malaysia to lead the GNA team, ensuring smooth production line operations and robust NPI activity.

The role focuses on process setup, testing, validation, and achieving FPY above 99%, with close collaboration across Production, Quality, R&D, and Engineering. Diplomas or degrees in electronics are required with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years in Process Engineering or Testing Engineering.
• Hands-on electronics product testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with audio/RF/power electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical support to the GNA team for stable production lines.
• Support GNA NPI activities: setup, testing, validation, and mass production readiness.
• Monitor product testing, troubleshoot issues beyond technicians' scope.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for FPY >99%.
• Follow ECNs to ensure controlled changes and process updates.
• Develop and maintain process docs, testing procedures, and work instructions.
