Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Subang is seeking a Process Engineer (Mechatronics) to analyze current processes, identify efficiency improvements, and support quality and safety initiatives. You will drive process optimization projects and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, at least 2 years in process engineering or manufacturing, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechatronics or related field).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/ Green Belt
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and applications(advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Drive continuous improvement projects (PDCA, Why-why analysis).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support automation and digitalization projects aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Example, R&D, Digitalization & Engineering) to support new product launches and process changes.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and disciplinary standards.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the company’s management from time to time.
