Job summary

SAR-ALAM INDAH SDN. BHD. is seeking a Plant Operations Engineer to oversee plant operations, monitor process parameters, troubleshoot issues, and optimize treatment processes for efficiency and output quality.

The role includes liaising with providers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating maintenance and budgeting. Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency required; Mandarin is a plus. On-site in Kuching, Sarawak.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical / Environmental / Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in related field.
• Familiar with Mass & Energy Balance.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Leadership, communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both oral and written.
• Able to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

• Enforce strict compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for plant operations.
