Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to help learn and manage recovery processes, collect data for improvements, and oversee the operation floor and new plant construction. The role includes troubleshooting plant issues, coordinating work, and ensuring equipment meets specifications while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
The candidate should have an engineering degree in Chemical/Industrial fields, English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency, and 1–2 years of related experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Minimum 1–2 years of related experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Learn and manage recovery processes.
- Collect data to enable improvements and modifications.
- Oversee operation floor and construction of new plants.
- Investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems.
- Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines within budgets.
- Ensure equipment works to specification and capacity.
- Assess safety and environmental issues.
- Liaise with installation/project engineers and specialists.
- Purchasing and commissioning equipment.
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety laws.
