Job summary

Dell Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineer, Process Development (New Product Introduction) to join the Global Operations Engineering team in Penang. You will drive timely introduction of server, storage, and networking products into manufacturing, ensuring quality and ramp plans are met.

You will lead cross-functional and regional efforts, resolve complex failure modes across electrical, mechanical, software, and test domains, and communicate project status to operations leadership while

Qualifications

• Experience in introducing new enterprise products to manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze and resolve electrical, mechanical, software and test failure modes.
• Strong communication with operations leadership and cross-regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely introduction of new enterprise products to manufacturing at the desired quality level and ramp plan.
• Develop and implement production/processing methods to meet quality standards in a cost-efficient manner.
• Provide engineering/pilot qualification build management and report progress and results.

• Process Development (New Product Introduction) on our Global Operations Engineering (Infrastructure Solution Group) team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieveAs a Senior Engineer, you will responsible for timely introduction of new enterprise class products (Server, Storage & Networking) to manufacturing at the desired quality level and meets the ramp plan, develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner, introduce engineering changes to sustaining products ensuring stable mass production, provides engineering/pilot qualification build managemeneliminating product design/manufacturing process defects

• Ability to understand and help resolve Electrical, Mechanical, Software and Test failure modes
• Communicate to Operations leadership team on technical root-cause analysis, program status, deliverables and other product/manufacturing issues
• Report and present progress and results of your projects and tasks.

Lead/work cross-functionally and cross-regional in delivering project.
