Job summary

LIANHETECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking a process design professional in Johor Bahru to collect and organize project data, prepare energy balances, and design process flows. You will select equipment, create P&ID and layout drawings, and support electrical, instrumentation, and civil design tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, with over one year of process design experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
Major in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields.
Candidates with more than 1 year of process design experience are preferred.
Proficient in using CAD software.

Responsibilities

Collect project-related process data, design specifications, safety and health standards, and other technical documents.
Prepare project material and energy balance calculations and design process flow schemes.
Complete equipment selection and design drawings such as P&ID diagrams and layout drawings.
Provide project equipment data sheets and material lists; support electrical, instrumentation, and civil design work.
Prepare project-related design proposals.
Assist the department manager in completing design reviews across disciplines.
Participate in project design and process safety assessments.
Complete project preparation work and coordinate preliminary design in line with regulations.
Participate in drawing reviews and examine relevant drawings.
Assist in preparing project acceptance documents and project cost budgets.
Improve and archive P&ID drawings based on HAZOP and PSSR results.
