Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Process Engineer in Malaysia to design and deliver mechanical systems for industrial projects. You will develop P&IDs, layouts, and drawings using CAD tools while ensuring compliance with codes and client specs.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in mechanical/process design and construction.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design tools, Ms Project and Primavera.
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems such as pumping, HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and fire protection per project requirements.
Develop P&IDs, layouts and detailed drawings using CAD software.
Perform equipment selection, load calculations and system sizing.
Ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.
Support process design activities for plant construction.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and construction teams.
Oversee mechanical installation works and ensure quality and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve design and on-site issues.
Support testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
Prepare technical documentation, specifications and progress reports.
