Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Process Control Expert in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya to lead project development and DCS engineering across the APAC scope. You will manage requirements, craft specifications, and coordinate reviews with engineering groups and overseas affiliates.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, expanding process control expertise, and delivering capital projects with strong compliance and documentation practices. A technical degree and hands-on DCS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Control, Instrumentation, or related engineering.
• Hands-on DCS engineering experience with Yokogawa CENTUM and/or Azbil Harmonas DEO systems.
• Ability to design and implement complex logic and sequence controls.
• Strong documentation skills: technical specs, I/O lists, schematics, P&IDs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project development and act as project manager for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare technical specifications for modifications and implement them.
• Coordinate project reviews and ensure proper control by stakeholders.
• Manage external applications (regulatory, subsidies) with country support.
• Share lessons learned with AL group and train team members across the cluster.
