Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia is seeking an experienced Process Control Applications professional to develop and deploy regulatory and advanced control solutions across global facilities. You will sustain MPC performance, design control schematics and improve alarm management, partnering with site teams.

The role requires 3+ years in process control within refining/chemicals/upstream, with strong DCS/SCADA/MPC know-how and programming/data analytics skills. Based in Kuala Lumpur with a global scope.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement regulatory and advanced control applications at facilities globally.
Provide technical support to refineries, chemicals and upstream facilities on base and advanced control apps.
Maximize benefits from optimization apps by remotely sustaining and improving MPC performance.
Design new or modify existing process control schematics to improve operators’ response to abnormal situations.
Improve abnormal event detection and alarm management at facilities worldwide.
Support R&D and next-generation process control tools to maximize value delivery.
