Job summary

Air Liquide Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, seeks a Process Control Expert to lead automation and DCS projects within the APAC cluster. You will drive control strategies, design sequences, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

The role requires hands-on DCS experience (Yokogawa CENTUM or Azbil Harmonas DEO), strong documentation skills, and a background in E&I engineering. Travel and collaboration with overseas affiliates are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Control, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with DCS engineering, Yokogawa CENTUM and/or Azbil Harmonas DEO.
• Designing and implementing complex logic & sequence controls.
• Strong technical documentation skills for specs, I/O lists, and architecture.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project development and act as project manager for scope and deliverables.
• Prepare technical specifications and implement modifications as required.
• Coordinate project reviews and manage external regulatory/subsidy applications.
• Share lessons learned with group affiliates and promote best practices.
• Mentor and train engineers to develop process control expertise; support projects to completion.
